​Who is NanoCBD 4 Life™?

A few years ago I first learned the difference between tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) and cannabidiol (CBD), I became intrigued and even a little perturbed by the confusion that exist between the two compounds. I actually remember asking myself, how was I so naïve to have let the government and other health groups dupe me so long into thinking that CBD and THC were one in the same. Growing up in the sixties, I was very susceptible to the fear-mongering propaganda of the 1930’s “reefer madness”. It sufficiently scared me and most my friends from ever trying the “deadly drug”. I thought that if it didn’t kill me, it could certainly drive me to the “looney bin”. Furthermore, if I was ever to be caught with the stuff, I’d be doing serious hard time in the “big house”…something I felt ill-equipped to do. Years later, when I discovered that a cousin of cannabis…namely hemp…had an actual healthy byproduct (CBD) that contained none (zero, zilch, nada) of the psychoactive THC, I really became intrigued.

I was really blown away when I learned that Hemp, an industrial plant, has 10,000 years of history due to its diverse uses. Medicinally, it traces back to 2,600 BC where it was used in Chinese medicine. Today, it’s still considered one of the 50 fundamental herbs. Because of my science background, I was amazed to discover that CBD and THC have the exact same molecular structure: 21 carbon atoms, 30 hydrogen atoms and 2 oxygen atoms but that a slight difference in how the atoms are arranged accounts for the differing impacts on your body…how cool is that! Then I really got into the thick of things when I learned that in 1992, scientist discovered the human body has its own endocannabinoid system (hECS) providing its own cannabinoid receptors that regulate various aspects of human physiological, behavioral, immunological, and metabolic functions….WOW!

I really became hooked when my friend Pam, introduced me to the idea of utilizing nanotechnology as a delivery system that, if used properly, could bypass the unhealthy “western microbiome” and deliver health-strengthening nutrients directly to the body’s cellular level at an incredible absorption rate of 99%…DOUBLE WOW! And as they say, the rest is history. 

In 2018, Pam and I founded Nano Vision BioScience, LLC with the expressed purpose of taking evidence based research and remarkable biotechnological advances to form a company that just might deliver some “goodness” to humankind. We know it sounds a bit lofty, and yes, even a tad presumptuous, but we’ve made a vow to try. After all, we’re both pushing 70 years of earth-life, so if not now, then waiting for “when” may just pass us by.
